How to Change Copyright in Footer in Magento.?
Footer is important part of the website and needs to change as per the website rules as well as policies. Although only copyright content is written there but some also adds link there that might needed to change as well. Below given steps are step by step information for changing the Footer Content in Magento
- Step 1: First of all Login to your Magento Admin Panel as required
- Step 2: Go to System >>Configuration settings
- Step 3: Click on the Design on the left bar and another data will be shown on the right side
- Step 4: Scroll down and Open ‘Footer’ tab Change, edit or remove the text in the Copyright field.
- Step 5: After you have changed the content Click on Save Config button below to make design changes on the front end respectively.
One can also remove footer Content in Magento from these settings by deleting the current data from the settings.
There are also other option in the Magento if theme is configured on custom basis on which you can make changes from the following file.

If the changes are still not visible on the front end than you might have to search from scratch with right class name, static block or pages that may be calling the content on the footer accordingly
